Photoshoot EB [Feb 10, 2008]

Ever since my business trip here in Japan (Sept 2007), I have joined this forum site for Filipinos staying in Japan. It's a great forum since I get to learn many things on "how to live" in Japan. Threads about work, money matters, life in Japan, computers and technology et al are all there for Filipinos to ask questions about, and then fellow Filipinos who are "in the know" answer. Dominant members of the forum are housewives (having Japanese husbands) and IT professionals. Being a relative newbie in Japan, I get to learn a lot from them.

Ever since I have bought my DSLR, of course there always has been a desire to improve on my shots. However it was kind a bit hard for me to practice since I rarely go outside (Winter season). Thus, when some forum members who are photo hobbyists organized a photoshoot EB , I gladly joined in. I eventually invited Geoff to tag along, since he is also a forum member (but just a lurker) and also owns a camera (same as mine).

*Note: EB or EyeBall is a term used for meetups by people who really don't personally know each other - in our case are just co-members in a forum)

Our first stop was at Yamashita Park where I got nice pictures of seagulls.

Next was at Akarenga wherein there is a skating rink temporarily setup for the winter season. Another group of forum members where actually ice skating (I also want to try!) and so our group and theirs merged from there. (first 2 pics from 'mtwalton', the same person who gave us Valentine choco&cookies)

Afterwards, we went to nearby Chinatown, took pictures, ate dinner. Last stop which was already dark, in Minato Mirai. (grabbed from Alvin)
